At their peril, and ours. It is time to give voice to that generation, and to farmers who know....

Thanks for commenting, and for listening!

Really enjoyed this. You've got such a gift for sharing the common man's experience. I truly believe Vermonters will (or should) kick themselves in their behinds not rallying behind you for Governor. Thank you for sharing!

I just want Vermonters to rally behind their farmers, new and old, before it is too late to preserve our agricultural heritage and we become just another vacation haven for Martha's Vinyard tourists and ski bums. Thanks so much for your encouragement!! I believe more people are becoming awake (not woke) to the importance of small farms and experienced farmers, and so this is the time to listen to their hard-earned wisdom and common sense, while we still have the opportunity.

I have a bunch planned. Fortunately, there are still quite a few farmers like Wes around. I want to share their voices -- that is what the book is all about, but also I'd like people to be able to hear them directly.

What a hoot - the interview with Wes! Very entertaining, with humor and common sense knowledge. You elicited a broad range of interesting farming practices over the years, and I loved the show!!!! And now I know to add a tire in the middle of burning plastic! That was toooooo funny, and of course I wouldn't do that. Ha! Thanks for finding salt-of-the-earth guys to teach us and I look forward to the next interview!
