I had a female border collie. She was the best dog imaginable and lived to almost 16. I've been so heartbroken I've never even tried to replace her. But your pups sure are tempting....

I'm on a walker recuperating from near-death Sepsis, so I have to pass. But that puppy is irresistible. They are such wonderful dogs.

Would an 80ish couple be able to train and manage such a dog? They lost 2 companions in the last year and now have a void in their home. They have ample space...

Absolutely they could! Border collies are super smart and easy to train. However, they are also high energy and do best if they can run or walk outside regularly....

I can only echo comments here and say I miss my rough collie who died 11 years ago at nearly 14. And now I have four kids and we’re not in a good place in life for a dog, but man…
