Our batch of Border Collie puppies will be ready to go on August 1. They are registered livestock dogs. This is their story….
We have two female and three male border collie puppies from our dog Bea. Bea is the daughter of Belle, who is the best cow dog we have ever had. Belle is totally fearless and extremely intelligent. You may have seen Belle before on my Substack, as she likes to go for rides in the truck or car:
Belle’s Mom was Katie, who lived to the ripe age of almost 18. Katie was very personable, a great Mom, always socializing with neighbors, and loved to herd chickens. She also loved to go for long walks — as all Border Collies do:
(This is baby Bea with her grandmother Katie.)
(Bea, all grown up!)
The sire of these puppies, also registered, is Max. Max is a shorthair, very easy-going and human-friendly:
And out of Bea and Max, we are blessed with five beautiful Border Collie puppies that look like this at four weeks:
Please contact me directly at farmerjohnklar@gmail.com if you wish to buy a puppy. They are $1,500, with two spoken for. Three left!
I had a female border collie. She was the best dog imaginable and lived to almost 16. I've been so heartbroken I've never even tried to replace her. But your pups sure are tempting....
I'm on a walker recuperating from near-death Sepsis, so I have to pass. But that puppy is irresistible. They are such wonderful dogs.
