RFK's COVID dissent is a bridge too far for them to ever endorse him. He could start calling himself a socialist tomorrow and it would still be unforgiveable.

And his unabashed criticism of the deep state that (probably) killed his uncle doesn't resonate with the Dem base that thinks the intelligence community are their friends these days.

He's too "weird" to be a viable Dem candidate, and he's not populist enough to win over Reps that aren't still sufficiently enraged by the COVID farce to stray from the Trump/DeSantis carnivals.

As for me, he's a climate change weirdo who wanted to jail climate "deniers" once upon a time, which is worrying. Other than that, if he miraculously makes it onto a ticket, I'll probably vote for him if I have nothing better to do that day.

Good insights. He claims he never wanted to jail us, but I agree he holds some extremely fantastical ideas re renewables. However, kook and all -- let the people decide! And not all Dem people are so enamored with shots, the FBI, or the CIA.... :) Thanks for commenting.

It's true he never used the word "jail," but he did say he wished there was a law that would criminally punish public figures who expressed skepticism. He generously allowed private citizens to retain their right to disagree with climate ideology for now.

It's true not all Dem voters are Covidian or love the deep state, but the numbers make it pretty clear they're rare birds. The base has strongly homogenized around these ideas, at least in their public opinions. Identifying as "on the left" seems to have become a widening patchwork of increasingly unrelated propositions (identity politics AND a biomedical state AND big government AND globalism AND labor AND state surveillance AND open-door immigration...) that one must, at least nominally, sign onto to maintain tribal allegiance. This ten-course meal then seems stitched together in a decidedly post-hoc manner to justify the package deal (leading to bizarre assertions like "being anti-vax is white supremacy; climate denial is misogyny").

The law of revealed preference makes me wonder how many Dem voters that aren't terminally online are a lot more moderate (or at least a lot more libertarian) than the discourse would suggest. To a lesser extent, I wonder the same about Rep voters lately, too.

Yes it is comprehensive. The globalists want to control everything in the name of protecting everything: health, climate, equity--all roads lead to globalist rescue by total domination. I will die rather than submit, as will be expressed in an upcoming newsletter titled "We won't be fooled again."

RFK jr has some serious thoughts and I think you need to listen to him. He has his own substack here called American Resources. He was on Joe Rogan for 3 hours. Meygan Kelley had him. He is refreshing to listen too.

I have seen him speak twice. I don't agree with all he says but I heartily agree with his points about corporate/globalist domination and the fiasco of vaccine lies and domination. I view him as an ally.....

What I hear is someone who sees wrongs and wants to right them. He has said many times show me where I am wrong and I will change my thoughts using this new factual information. Biden has no mind to change. Trump is nothing but BS. Which might be good in your pasture but it’s not what we need in the WH.

I see Kennedy as flat wrong on some of his renewable energy fantasies. I do hope he is able to reshape some of those views. I am a conservative who could get behind Kennedy notwithstanding differences. Americans want someone they can trust, and I trust him more than most.... :)

The US is rotten to the core. Rife with fraud; corruption; lawlessness for the few (connected and wealthy). In essence, a Fascist state of merged State and Corporate. They don’t even try and hide it anymore. It’s blatant in your face. No longer the great nation that it once was. Unfortunate. Reminds me of the quote from Cicero. The Enemy Within……

Sadly you are dead on, and I fear it ends badly....

Good article. I think Kennedy is an interesting candidate although I am anxious to hear where he stands on social issues such as abortion and parental control of their children lives. I really don't think Biden is up to the task and the party will turn on him. Like you said, they will never pick Kennedy although He may be their best bet to beat Trump or another populist Republican candidate. My guess is that it will likely be Newsom despite the disaster which is California.

Solid take. The more the Dems try to hurt Trump, the stronger he gets. The hypocrisy of their law fare is in full view. Kennedy could peel off some of the more independent minded Trump voters who want an outsider because they sense in their bones how corrupt the DC bureaucracy has become.
