One thing that drives me crazy about the Left in general and Trans people in particular is their kidnapping of the word “activist.” It used to be that activists were people like, for example, Paul Watson who risked their butts for their beliefs. These trans protestors are just stupid and overly-coddled tantrumists who are doing PR for the medical-industrial complex and the billions they make off trans drugs and surgeries - and will continue to make for the entire lives of too many poor, misguided children.
They don't only hijack the word 'activist.' Much more concerning is their blatant misuse of the word "conversion therapy," which has even been copied by the Supreme Court as such.
The Supreme Court should stop repeating such misleading terminology used by morally bankrupt defendants. To affirm the universal law that people are born in the right body, is commendable and has nothing to do with "conversion therapy."
It is absolutely virtuous to try and keep children away from irreversible hormone suppression or even worse, the medical malpractice of genital lobotomy, for which they can never give informed consent.
This relates directly to a concerning trend has emerged in our culture: the cultivation of victimhood identity, particularly among younger generations. This phenomenon turns victimhood into a valuable social currency that can be exchanged for attention, sympathy, and tangible benefits.
Perhaps more troubling is how political figures capitalize on this dynamic. In Vermont specifically, representatives like Balint and Sanders consistently frame their messaging around protecting constituents from perceived threats and injustices. They cultivate victimhood, for their own political gain.
This is a harmful symbiotic relationship: individuals embracing victim status are relieved of accountability for their circumstances, while politicians who position themselves as protectors gain influence and loyalty. Yet these same political figures often have little incentive to actually resolve the underlying issues, as their power base depends on the continued perception of victimization.
The article referenced illustrates this pattern. When a young person claims to have suffered "lifelong irreversible harm" despite their limited years, they're not merely describing trauma—they're signaling an intention to permanently incorporate victimhood into their identity. This mindset presents a more fundamental challenge than whatever negative influences may have contributed to their situation initially.
I agree that "their power base depends on the continued perception of victimization." However, Chloe Cole claims she was rushed into gender conversion and surgeries without adequate screening -- medical malpractices that scarred her physically. That actually IS a lifelong trauma, and she is trying not to gain power but to prevent this from happening to others. There are actual victims, and faux victims. As we see here, the activists claiming they are victims and under threat of violence actually victimize others and are not afraid at all. The entire ideology is built on hate and lies, and victimizes children -- like Chloe, who was twelve when this began for her.
I'm not suggesting that she is trying to be a victim, I'm saying that she appears to be convinced that she will never get over this. She might have had the exact same conviction when she thought she was in the wrong body, and yet she got over that.
She shouldn't be treated like a victim because that feeds her self-defeating attitude. Instead she should be told that this unfortunate moment will pass and she will go on to live whatever life she wants.
She is smart enough to have reversed a terrible decision. Now she needs to use that intelligence to cultivate an attitude that works to her benefit.
After growing up in the 70's in NJ, many students in my school were fascinated by Vermont and its youthful exuberance to exist in the 'counter culture'. While I enjoy living here as a senior in a rural small town, the political left 'kow-tows' to the toxic behavior of this trans community. Their needs show that they are ' in desperate need of attention' ( and probably some love in their lives). Yes, they have the right to 'be as they are' however they want all of us to not only accept them, but to actually celebrate them! I can accept but not celebrate. Their antics (as shown in the video) show a lack of respect for anyone else and anyone else's beliefs. The level of maturity is off the charts (in the opposite direction)!
I wish someone would explain to me what "community" means in this context. It seems we can take all people who share one characteristic and by default that makes them a community. By that reasoning, there should be a left-hander community, but there is not.
I think calling them a community lends them credibility that they haven't earned. They are a mob.
1. The Sergeant at Arms felt helpless and unable to act against these people? Methinks she may be in the wrong position.
2. The school system these kids grew up in should be ashamed. If you have to resort to this kind of silliness to protest, it is a good indication that you are unable to wage a coherent argument for your position--much like AOC, bless her heart. Also, my guess is that they really had no idea what they are protesting against, only some vague and inarticulate notion of justice.
1) The Sargeant at arms is a lefty who was practically aiding and abetting them. She never even attempted to instill order, itself perhaps the most telling self-indictment. I suggested on Facebook that Hannaford's is hiring.... She should find a job she can engage in with integrity.
2) It very much felt like an out-of-control romper room, so, yeah.
3) That is perhaps the most interesting aspect to me -- they are just so knee-jerk hateful and oppositional that they don't perceive how horrible they look -- even without the jubilant juvenile antics -- opposing something so devastating to children and young people who by definition are NOT trans. The legislators who supported and condoned this should be ashamed, but likely have too much arrogance to ever embrace the required introspection.
They are attacking Chloe Cole, who alleges medical malpractice and that she was not trans. If they cared at all as they say they do, they would agree such breaches of trust and errors are egregious even IF they think they can change their biology with drugs and surgeries, which they cannot.
John, a few years ago I watched a panel of young people speak about regretting taking hormones, and having various surgeries. Puberty can be very difficult with all the changes your body experiences. In the past we had older role models to get us through it all. We were heading in a direction that was quite healthy IMO. It was ok for boys to play with dolls, and girls to play baseball...etc. Some young boys (especially if they have an older sister) liked to wear dresses. No one suggested "they were born in the wrong body." This is a dangerous idea to plant in a young person's mind. And yet all the young people on this panel got this message loud and clear from social media, parents, teachers, counselors, and medical doctors. Every one hated the fact that NOT ONE PERSON in their lives tried to help them through puberty as we older people experienced while growing up. Wise adults have been replaced by social media and warped ideology.
The virus must have a host or it faces loss of ability to replicate.
It is also true that the same ideology that swells with pride, takes no account that others are not so aligned. A representative of the "people", you say?
Some are ashamed and repulsed and uncomfortable stating so in such as "bastion of freedom" as the wee little state that said no to hate.
Great article. The problem with protesters now isn’t that they are merely disruptive. People like these folks are being paid by protest promoters and making a career of being a civil disrupter. I suspect these masked individuals have little if anything to do with transgender issues and everything to do with going to extremes for their new found paid adrenaline rush. The fact that political leaders are condoning these behaviors now means Vermont will bare a huge future burden of angry people waking up to their transition trauma. They will realize leaders knew about, dismissed and denied discussion on the mental health conditions that result. Follow the money of whose funding their political campaigns and you’ll see why they are selling out their soul and detransitioners in their state. This reminds me of how people become codependent to an addicted person who is medicating themselves so to mask pain of traumatic experiences. Except the drugs are hormones prescribed doctors and surgeries (a polite way of cutting).
This is extremely important! It would never occurred to me, that the autism issue is even remotely connected to transgenderism, just taking the main plot presented here.. This is SO EVIL, and unfortunately MMR injections are still being promoted by CDC....
Thank You John for this eyes opening info. Oh, you speak german as well, alles klar;))
Thanks for sharing Dr. Az...his approach seems exactly what is needed. The problem I see is children. When adults are suggesting they were "born in the wrong body" this is a powerful message that sets the stage for all kinds of issues!
The trans rights movement is a nihilistic death cult for the mentally ill. Detransitioners and desisters that escaped and disavow it threaten its existence and must be stopped and silenced.
For you who are not from here: The word "Vermont" should not be used in the same sentence with the words "common sense" or "freedom of speech". I do support the use of "democratic legislators" and "hell" in the same utterance. Seems to just roll of the tongue!

"tantrumists" Yes....

Yes, they behaved like bullying children. They are seeding a backlash against themselves, as Douglas Murray warns in "The Madness of Crowds."

Hey Andrew! Are you a left hander? I am, but not in my way of thinking! Lefties think with the Right side of the brain!!
FIRE, BAN ERADICATE ALL LEFTIST COMMUNIST ANTI AMERICAN ANTI CONSTITUTION JUDGES FROM ALL GOVT. DEPATMENTS NOW ....
Two thoughts immediately came to mind:
1. The Sergeant at Arms felt helpless and unable to act against these people? Methinks she may be in the wrong position.

Thank you very much John. Your videos reveal the anti-civilization purpose of these people.

Upside down indeed. What a sickening and tragic turn of events.

Power wants transhumanism. This is a funded treadstone military objective. That is why power funds and imposes the unnatural.
