There’s only one conclusion that makes any sense to a thinking man: the federal government is now the enemy of the rural American community and is bent on its destruction. Why this is, is debatable, but the fact that the fedgov is at war with rural people is not debatable. The battle against small farms and towns is only one front in this war against the working classes.

It’s like mafia tactics.

Agreed. Great comment.

Yes! The urbanites have been raping the countryside for a century -- it is urban colonizing of the land. It ends badly for the city dwellers....

I’m convinced that it’s the ENGO’s and fedgov attempting to steal the land and control the food/energy/water supply. After reading Elizabeth Nickson’s book “Eco-Fascists, How radical conservationists are destroying our national heritage”, it’s impossible to see what’s happening to us as other than an all out attack against rural America. I can’t recommend this book enough for anyone who wants the truth about why rural land and towns are under assault by the globalist (read fedgov) dictators. They really do hate us.

They suffer from a god complex, self-appointed to save the world from the scourge of God's human creations. Elizabeth s a hero!

If we see what is happening throughout the world to agriculture (Netherlands, Germany, UK, Sri Lanka) I think we should be prepared for more anti-food policies in the US. These folks already don’t have the protection of the meat cartel lobby because they don’t participate in the Cargill Cartel so the USDA has a target on every direct to consumer meat producer.

You mean the USDA is not my farming ally? :) I sell directly to my customers and conceal their identities from the government. Eat free or die!

I call myself a guerrilla poultry producer because my local health department won’t approve my hand slaughtering and direct distribution system.

It is insane that these ranchers be charged with 'theft.' Unfortunately, it fits into a broader pattern of charges being made against communities the government does not like based on laws that in any reasonable world would be dismissed right off the bat. I intend to write a piece on that in the broader context, what the implications are of overly broad interpretation of terms like 'harassment,' 'incitement,' 'racketeering,' and in this case, 'theft.'

Terrific! I love your writing, and we need all hands on deck! I believe a rereading of the preamble to the Declaration of Independence is warranted -- we are almost there.

Is it as bad as it seems? Have we been here before as a nation? Did we ever get this close to tyranny post 1776? Are there any historians out there that can state the answer?

Or are we just seeing the same cockroach or rat scurrying through the kitchen again....? I used to think McCarthy was vile... and still do, but maybe he wasn't as looney or vicious as we thought. Anybody else have a change of heart on this?

I don't think this is McCarthy's communism, nor do I think you can stop people from embracing toxic ideologies if they so choose. This is corruption within and at the top -- a very different animal, even if seeded by those McCarthy tried to call out -- his efforts may have been counterproductive. People are very oppositional..... :)

Interesting point Mr. Klar. Thank you for the thoughtful consideration of my question.

If I may ask, why do you still find what Sen. Joseph McCarthy attempted to do, which was act upon credible information he received from F.B.I. sources suggesting many facets of the federal government had been infiltrated by Jewish-led communism, so "vile", as you put it? The post-Soviet era release of K.G.B. documents vindicated much of Sen. McCarthy's assertions. The man was railroaded precisely because he was spot on.

Excellent question. And after I wrote that rather spontaneously it stuck out in my mind too. So now, a few days later, I think I can answer. (And what I know is not related to an indepth analysis but from what I had learned in school, some 40-50 years ago, which may be incorrect.) Because of the way they were forcing people to turn other people in such as friends, coworkers, partners, etc. by using manipulation and coersion. I may be naive and this is quite likely the case. But I think that is where I felt it was wrong. Instead of using evidence and facts.

There is a program produced by Devon Stack which you can find on Odysee. The name of the program in BlackPilled. Devon recently devoted an entire episode to revisiting the McCarthy affair. The majority of Devon's output is now underneath the heading of "Insomnia Stream." if you are the sort of person inclined to devote hours at a time to engaging and thought provoking opinion and analysis, I highly recommend his "McCarthy Edition" episode, released just a few weeks ago. This subject piqued my interest so much I have just this morning ordered a book from Thriftbooks by M. Stanton Edwards entitled "Blacklisted By History" which chronicles the whole, sordid affair.

I am afraid the good Senator from Wisconsin was correct and his investigation into the insidious corruption of traditional American morays was hamstrung and sabotaged from within. And we are living through the results of this intentional obliteration of the Spirit of '76.

Much of what we were taught in school was complete nonsense. Think of any of the "villains" that our teachers wanted us to revile: George Lincoln Rockwell, Adolf Hitler, Joseph McCarthy, Bull Connor and the like. They were done away with because they were in the right, not the wrong, and they stood in the way of the program which has now taken firm root in majority white nations.

Are you saying Hitler was in the right? As to McCarthy, I do think he was vindicated in some part --but wasn't the reach of his efforts far broader than required, and didn't he target innocent people who were only mildly associated with communist elements? I'm asking because I am unsure.

Senator McCarthy was never allowed the opportunity to coordinate a thorough and exhaustive investigation into the allegations of communist perversion within the highest ranks of the federal government. The F.B.I. agents who first brought this matter to his attention were not willing to go on record and risk their careers and perhaps the safety of their families. The very people Sen McCarthy was attempting to expose insinuated plants within his fact-finding team and intentionally led him astray. Obviously, as with any wide-ranging investigation into systemic wrong-doing, naive enablers will be swept up in the dragnet. None of us have perfection of clairvoyance. I believe much more attention was paid to those who knew little of what they were facilitating as opposed to those who were directly involved in subverting our constitutional republic. If you wish to know more, I refer you to my most recent message to P.B. on this forum. I'm merely a conduit for information, at this point in my life. True citizen journalists have conducted much more extensive research, which any reputable source will back up with proper sourcing for independent investigation and verification.

Adolf Hitler was a man who loved his people with a depth and passion which ought to emulated by all citizens of their respective countries. What his political party, the NSDAP, sought to achieve was nothing short of the global liberation of all countries from the clutches of pernicious Jewish-controlled banking institutions.

I too was once a contented inhabitant of Vermont, having spent the better part of 31 years there. It is a captured territory with very dim prospects for a revival of its once vaunted distinction as a bastion of well-balanced stoics. Hyper emotionalism has ruined the character of the people there. Things aren't much better here in New Hampshire. There is a sprinkling of genuine truth-seekers left on this planet. Perhaps you are one of them.

This was excellent. Thank you. Catherine Austin Fitts is very clear that we have a governance problem and I would certainly agree. Control the food, control the people. I read in David A. Hughes book Wall Street the Nazis and the Crimes of the Deep State that 39 trillion dollars was transferred from regular people to the ultra-wealthy since 2020 which is horrifying. I bought my food from local farmers over the weekend and skipped chain grocery stores so money goes directly to them. I hope collectively more people support and protect our local small farmers/ranchers. Seriously, the most amazing, aware people are at those markets. It feels like real community there, too.
