Since my then high schooler was prattling off CRT and all the requisite Neo-Marxists and post-modernists, I have been trying to make sense of things. I tried to instill a moral code that there was a duty owed to help others climb the economic ladder just as his great-grandparents had done. But CRT doesn't allow for this. Moral traditions are abolished; thus, a systematic framework replaces traditional morality. Lian McGilchrist's work addresses this issue, as does F.A. Hayek's work. For the past few hundred years, we've been living in the 'rational world' cut off from the fuller spectrum offered by the right brain hemisphere. This rational world treats us as if we were machines, and the correct coding must be inserted, which gives rise to a massive administrative state that causes more than good. Now that I can grasp the operating code, it takes the emotion out of it and allows for clearer thinking to defeat it.

Yes! Another excellent work (that details the true agenda of drag queen story hour -- and it ain't to teach kids to read) is James Lindsay's The Marxiification of Education.

He's been critical to my understanding. One problem with James is that you do need a basic understanding before jumping in. It's like when I mistakenly enrolled in an intermediate Spanish class instead of class one. I also came upon the work of Rene Girard. His take on scapegoating and how it changed under the Judeo-Christian rubric is fascinating. By erasing this tradition, we are left with feeding off our tribal instincts to punish/sacrifice others.

Excellent article, well written! I read this aloud at the dinner table tonight. The entire thing. The room got quiet. I'll send letters in hopes that H.273 gets some "vote no" attention. But the runaway legislators are too high and mighty to listen to a constituent.
