As a born and raised Californian, to see this state deteriorate, especially over the past twenty years, is a crime in itself.
The ‘progressives’ and their policies, have totally wrecked this state especially along the coastal band of California, from San Diego up to the Oregon border.
During the Scamdemic we had the most draconian lockdowns and mandates in the beginning that you can imagine, put in place by Governor Newscum. The mask wearing requirement lasted FOREVER. I had the police called on me and four of my friends for not wearing a mask while shopping in a Progressive/Woke Bookstore, Warwicks, in the seaside community of La Jolla, CA in January of 2022! So much ‘bad’ legislation has been passed in this state for a very long time.
It is indeed tragic -- Oakland has become a war zone. However, there is hope that voters are changing course..... Burlington, Vermont hasn't even done that yet.
I live in San Diego. Our city has been taken over by a progressive/new school woke liberal city council and Mayor. San Diego/SD County being a ‘military town/area’ used to be a Republican dominated city. Not anymore.
Downtown SD is a total s**thole of homeless encampments and the smell…woo wee! Makes the smell of walking through a cow barn seem sweet! The Bay Area is the worst though. San Francisco, and The East Bay are very bad. San Francisco was a lovely and beautiful city. Not so much anymore. The voters are waking up here in CA, but it’s going to take a lot to shift things. Besides our elections, both statewide and local, are totally rigged as well.
