Is there an organization that you can recommend that legitimately works to support gun 2nd amendment rights? There are so many non profits around gun rights and it is hard to know which ones are actually doing the work.
In Vermont, the VT Federation of Sportsmen's Clubs is top -- Chris Bradley. Very committed, honest people.
Nationally, I'm more partial to the National Association for Gun Rights than the NRA these days.... But others are better informed than I. Perhaps the will chime in. :)
as an unfortunate resident of the failed state of Illinois I can guarantee you that the state will never defend your rights unless you claim to be a shemale and in that case it will make up rights for you.
Once again, how much emphasis has been upon examining the causes of domestic abuse in any of its forms? As with other crimes, if the causes of the criminality ( ahem, as in already breaking existing law) are not examined and resources applied to remedy the root causation, then we will not move forward as a civil society.
The lack of support for the family institution, drug abuse, economic hardship, utilizing family courts and children as mechanisms to redistribute wealth and exact retribution will never, ever produce fair, balanced results favorable to all parties.
