Glad to see you picked up on the report on Hunga Tonga. It is noticeably absent from the usual suspects in the MSM. However, there is still more going on that is also being censored/suppressed, which really could be an existential threat. I do not believe all these wildfires currently raging around the world (but mostly in western countries) are naturally occurring and intensified simply due to poor forest management. https://www.geoengineeringwatch.org/geoengineering-watch-global-alert-news-august-19-2023-419/

I plan to write about it yet more -- there is a LOT of science suggesting that the HT volcano is impacting the climate to make it warmer. I will dig deeper into the fires.... Thanks.

Your objectivity and rational skepticism make me glad to at least be able to read columns like this on my very limited SSI allowance. Very much appreciated.

Would so much love to see a Governor Klar before it's my turn to inspect daisy roots.

Like everything these days all we get from the governments and the "media" is lies, lies, and more lies.

I don't know if y'all have noticed, but the epicenter of the coldest place on the northern hemisphere is not always the north pole. It slides around quite a bit. When it slides toward the Americas, we hear about the heat wave in Europe. When it slides toward Europe, we hear about the heat wave in America. They never really tell you about how its unseasonably colder on the other side.

It would be really nice to feel like there wasn't a conspiracy (or stand-alone complex) blowing smoke up my ass from every angle every day.

"These clear scientific facts don’t align with NASA’s unequivocal attribution of current warming events to anthropomorphic causes."

Which is precisely why there's been virtually no news coverage of the volcano's eruption, at least here in the US. If they ignore it maybe it never happened.

We live in rural north west Pennsylvania. Our July was noticeably cooler and our night time temperatures were below average, often hovering in the 40s. Many days we have experienced heavy cloud cover. We’ve also had high levels of rainfall. As a result, tomatoes are still green; cucumber flowers have not yet turned into fruit, just to name two problems. I had read earlier this summer that the national weather service has closed many of its rural weather gathering centers, leaving only those in large urban areas where of course temperatures are higher. And now we have NASA adding to the stampeding of people into fearing that the “planet is boiling.” The HT volcano will be affecting weather for several years. It’s a man made disaster alright, just not of the kind the narrative is pushing.

It has been so incredibly rainy this summer in southern Vermont that all of our kitchen garden is disappointing. The tomato plants took it especially hard, the cucumbers are doing OK, but not great. Root crops seem to be doing as well as usual, although a little behind schedule, but the onions aren't bulbing up the way they're supposed to.

We used to live in rural northeast Pennsylvania.

Its clear that all climate science is corrupted. The only studies that get funded fit the man made narrative. If somehow a study showing the opposite of the narrative it will be ignored and the author’s demonized it doesn’t take long for those in that field to understand what they have to do to get their grants. It’s as bad as pharmaceutical studies scientific truth is not possible.

"Grants" = Other People's Money

Small town resident here. I hear so much re "grants" each month I could scream. Little, if anything, said about any strings attached.
