Christ the a lord is risen. Happy Easter. I grew up very similar and in a similar perhaps even earlier era. My mother remained agnostic to the end. I became a Christian afte I graduated from college. It shaped my life and has given me connection that I didn’t have and a wonderful husband too. May God bless all here today and everyday as we take up our shields to fight against evil.
Christian Nationalist; that needs to go on a t-shirt, together with others in the lineup, "Domestic Terrorist;" Bible clinging and gun toting could be fit in to the lineup too, I'm sure.
God bless you for working with middle schoolers! I was in Christian education, K-12, for many years until I moved into Christian higher ed in 2010. Mostly working with highschoolers as a principal, coach and teacher. IMO, if the church really wants to make an impact within our communities, funding and promoting Christian education should be a top priority.
I'm here for that reason, and trying to raise scholarships to help more parents withdraw their kids from toxic public schools.... Please keep us in prayer!

It is a sad fact that there is a dark cloud that has descended over our country emanating from Mordor-like power centers or our nation. Its darkness has penetrated the souls of many of our leaders blinding them and making them incapable of even recognizing truth, much less comprehending it. In my opinion, there are no political solutions that can save us without first a spiritual awakening. Thankfully, the message of the Resurrection is that there is a very real hope of salvation and redemption found in our Lord and Savior.

I at times fall short in gentleness and respect.... But I'm a work in progress(ive sanctification), aspiring to be more of a dove.
