John, there are also pockets of or a few journalists who investigate and report the truth. We know what we term the mainstream media is simply state-controlled propaganda machines and I don't believe they will ever be anything else.
Well, many of these MSM machines were once mainstays of legitimate journalism. I pray some of them will one day wake to their own failures and reboot their ethic. If not, I hope those who do will thrive and the liars will fade into laughable irrelevance (a la CNN and Washington Post)...
I do recall in my younger days in the 50's and early 60's watching the news. It seemed they simply reported what happened and you didn't know what their politics or personal opinions were. Yet, what news did they report and who decided? If I recall, some programs were sponsored by corporations so I also imagine they determined the content of those programs and had to follow FCC regulations.
Good news! We're not totally defunct, judicially speaking. 🎉
So many of my conservative friends are feeling some anxiety because of how "well" Harrison is doing. I have told them it's a psyop, don't believe it. Just two short weeks ago she had the lowest pop rating of any VP. What we are seeing is a massive propaganda and psyop campaign.
Stay the course. "If a conservative or Republican doesn't get out and vote, they are effectively voting Democrat." Saw that on the book of faces and thought it was good.

Matt Taibbi’s reporting from the Twitter files commented on her role in DHS. Glad at least the above board stuff in her department has been shut down. However, the government has a diversity of methods in policing information online. The most common, and most durable of these are through internet “research” NGOs such as Stanford Internet Observatory (Rene Direstra who is for sure CIA) and the Election Integrity Project. All of these profuse NGOs and USG projects are guided by the “public private partnership” model (shudder for fascism) and coalesce around the GEC (Global Engagement Center) which was created in the waning hours of the Obama presidency as a bulwark against “populist” impulses (ie people telling the government how they would like to be governed) of the Trump presidency. GEC is still around and personnel-wise it basically was staffed with the human infrastructure of the counter-terrorism mission which was winding down in 2016 as we shifted to funding ISIS in our battle against Assad (for oil resources???). This multi-pronged strategy of locating the ministry of truth in disparate governmental and NGOs make it nauseatingly difficult to identify. It truly is the seven headed hydra, as you cut off one head, two more grow in its place.
My whole view on this is that the business model of “news” has changed and it isn’t just that it turned digital, but that advertisements and views cannot support the expenses of most mainstream outlets because their viewership is just too low. Any politically oriented outlet (Fox, MSNBC, CNN, Politico, Axios, Vox, Guardian, and occasionally the Intercept - owned by Pierre Omidyar of eBay fortune) are majority funded as corporate propaganda. Meaning: we know that since the advent of television, and radio to some extent, broadcast has been supported by hawking products in between programming for the highest bidder (thus largest reach corporation). But now the programming itself is one long infomercial about reality. We know that politico gets the vast majority of its funding from direct pay for coverage. The audience for this madness is not you or I (and viewership reflects this - there are thousands and thousands of YouTube channels that have 10x viewership of these “mainstream” outlets), but rather the “thought leaders”, “influencers”, lobbyist and political class. I think the average congressperson is unaware that what they consume to be aware of current events is bought and paid for by large corporate interests and is as untrustworthy as a telemarketer. The viewership model (increase views and sell ad space) is not congruent with propaganda because normal people are good at sussing out BS, but influencing decision makers with the constant drip drip of a bs narrative is very profitable for companies who seek favor and regulatory advantage. We are not the audience of the news, because we are smart enough to see through it. Those we have elected are not.
Little pockets of sanity in our judicial system seem to exist. Few and far between but still, one can hope.
Such pockets remind of us of what an unbiased court with judicial integrity looks like. Now for similar examples of journalism in media....

Irony. At it's best
