Just an aside... "...it is clear that the megalomaniacal madman with a God complex and his Mini-Me-like son have something disruptive in mind. It is anthropogenic indeed: it is not the atmosphere, but destructive revolution, that George Soros seeks to seed."

Thanks for the laugh. You can think whatever you want to think, but there is a lot more to the story. My business partner, who has nothing to do with the Soros organization now for more than 15 years, worked for the Soros organization(s) in Europe. None of his work had to during that time had anything to do with the U.S.. But it was definitely about open democratic governments in the former Soviet Bloc. The dictators hated Soros. Soros was definitely also anti-fascist because of his earlier life lived under Hitler, at risk of his life.

I know enough of the details to know that Soros is not a 'megalomaniacal madman with a God complex'. I can say nothing about the son because I know nothing of his history.

It is easy to write almost anything if someone starts with an uniformed bias and goes from there. As for George Soros I don't have any preformed opinions one way or the other. I will agree that we live today in a heck of a confused world, also one where most people have little personal knowledge of 20th century history from the post WW II period. Enough from me.

It is interesting that a billionaire who is concerned about "open democratic governments" feels the need to insert himself as an outsider into local elections and help fund the campaigns of district attorney races in places like San Francisco, Los Angeles, Houston, Chicago etc. Seems like the principle of democracy inherently means that local elections should be just that--the sole affair of a local community. Not to mention the lawlessness and suffering that has resulted from these Soros funded DAs.

I fully agree that there is far too much money in politics and that financially acquired vast wealth has no place in campaign politics...but it does. I am very concerned for our country, and our founding principles, when even local elections can be influenced by millions or soon, billions.
