Whenever people tout their moral superiority as vegetarians I point out to them that Hitler was a vegetarian... He was also eschewed alcohol and disdained tobacco use.

Interesting. Studies make my skin crawl; I view them with suspicion.

However, I know vegans and vegetarians, and can see that most of them have come to a place in life where their human relationships have left skid marks on their emotions and incline them to pour their trust into fido or felix, and by extension, most animals. They cannot distance themselves from animals enough to view them as food resources.

VERY interesting post! Thank You John! Bible equally contains story which points to NOT eating meat as a very superior way of living resulting in incredible human body.. On the other hand, in todays times, the food choices we have, and I'm talking the non-meat choices, are equally so polluted, that once people get sick, parts of other animals (like grass fed beef, inner organs with the right non-genetically modified enzymes, etc, etc.) can literally safe peoples life.. The meat issue affecting human health is blood group dependent.
