Intimidation is rampant, and any requirement that an employee, rank and file, must sign a loyalty oath is an outright intimidation of speaking truth freely. Nor are whistleblowers protected. It may also be free speech to lie and issue insidious propaganda to undermine our country. So I defend free speech, and abhor intimidation of citizens and veiled verbal threats to their families.

However, a loyalty oath to the Constitution for government servants is a longstanding tradition designed to preserve the Constitution. If you refer to FBI agents, I am not fully informed but if while in the Biden admin they violated the Constitution I see no reason why they should not be held to an oath of loyalty to their Commander in Chief -- our military are.
