How about everyone fund their own education, housing, healthcare, childcare, retirement, social services, etc., etc., with the freedom to choose how and with whom. Back to basics -- individual freedom and responsibility, without the fiat money and surveillance system. The government that governs least governs best....but it seems we are too far down the road to serfdom at this point, and would require a biblical reset to exit this corrupt system that has no moral compass.
Umm...separation of church and state. It always amazes me how many interpretations there are of this phrase. Kind of makes me wish Jefferson had never written his letter.
Regarding school choice and vouchers, I am truly of mixed opinion. On the one hand, I sincerely sympathize with parents, who are often poor, stuck in low-performing school districts and who naturally want the best for their children. But as someone in Christian education for over 30 years, the idea of government funding of private schools worries me. Their track record is not good, even in Texas. With money comes strings. Will curriculum requirements follow the money? Maybe not now with a Republican governor in my State, but should Texas turn blue, all bets are off.

NO FEDERAL or STATE TAX DOLLARS for ANY schools.
Raise it locally to use it locally.
And for Heaven's sake don't allow any kind of union organization near our children.
