Do these people not remember the toilet paper crisis of April 2020? Messing with the free market *always* generates harmful unintended consequences.

A friend of mine told me about his friend, a rancher near Midland Texas, who bought an electrical pick-up truck that made it half-way from the dealer to his ranch before it gave out. He promptly called the dealer who towed it away and replaced it with a gasoline model. The dealers who I know in my town and nearby towns will not touch them unless forced to by the manufacturers. Of course, part of the reason is a lack of infrastructure needed to charge the vehicles. I doubt infrastructure is at the top of the priority list of most Texas lawmakers, especially given the border crisis. I wish the Feds would spend more time and money addressing the more real and likely terrorist threat to our electrical grid instead of the dubious climate change threat. At stake are not rising oceans but human lives.

Once they rig the elections again, they will resume their fast track implementation of their NWO. Our town committees (activists) are totally on board the Agenda, already adopting the 30% conserved lands by 2030, and 50% by 2050 in their plans. The democrat majority voters are so brainwashed in the climate scare that they either really believe it will save the planet or they are compromised by their conflicts of interest, profiting by being employed in the growing state and municipal regulatory agencies or the subsidized "green" energy industry. Our local and state taxes are funding the incremental erosion of our property rights. Judges and politicians are largely bought and paid for, so I don't expect the Constitution to be a consideration for the legal system.

The results of today's town meeting day votes on budgets and primaries will give a clue as to how far VT is down the communist hell hole. Even now a bunch of fools/tools are out there with the usual save-the-children,-it's-not-the-teachers'-fault-healthcare-insurance-has-increased, etc., bullshit letters arguing support for the oppressive education budgets, trying to mount a backlash against all the opposing commentaries.

In spite of my cynicism, I remain hopeful that there will come a day in the not-too-distant future that sanity returns and reason prevails.

Economics has a way of intruding on social justice delusions. Those destroying our nation and state are highly visible and will one day be held to account for their betrayals..... Ironically, the wealthiest people are the ones with the most to lose. Marie Antoinettes are always oblivious.

There is a substacker who writes about the green follies and he had a piece early in February about Ford losing over 60,000 on every EV sold in 2023. And he pointed out that the loses were accelerating with every quarter being worse than the quarter before and the Jan sales for 24 being down like 11% from Jan 23. So the folly of the management of Ford and GM to ignore their customers wants and needs is stunning. Every Ford F-150 has to be priced higher to cover up this stupidity.

" but President Biden cannot dictate what cars Americans drive any more than he can control what lever they pull in November 2024." But they certainly are giving it their all with our money. LA voted on what a PR spun as a way to make streets safer for pedestrians. It is truly about more road diets. One had to dig through the glossy ads to understand what they were saying.
