As a child of the 60s, I never thought I would or could see a day when the president of Russia makes more sense than the (so-called) president of the United States.
I've been truly awoken these past few years but there are days I'd like to take a nap.
You can't apply logic, common sense or rational precepts when talking with a certain type of human. It creates cognitive dissonance, if they happen to actually pay attention, which causes them immense anxiety for which that have no coping mechanisms. So they retreat back into their brainwashed mind and blame everyone else. It's how they cope.
And some of the responsibility for that lies in our generation John. Our peers raised their kids to "have it better" then we did and ended up destroying them.Which in turn trickled down to their children who were ripe for indoctrination in school.
Also I've found the "entitled" mindset on both ends of the financial spectrum as a rule and rarely on the working class.
People talk about bringing things back or making things great again. The thing is, that ship sailed. "You can never go home again". We have to start fresh. Which means we have to start with an empty slate. Can't build on something that is fractured or rotten.
I'm impatient. Let's get it over with so we can move on.
I once removed over 50,000 paper insurance claims from 18 staff workstation, compiled them in one room, had that staff collate and sort and cross reference only to discover we had almost 30,000 duplicate or triplicate claims. Did that in 2 days and ended up, overall, saving tons of time and therefore money. Sometimes you have to do the hard, laborious thing, start over, in order to make progress. Just my humble opinion.
John, you make too much sense. The powers that be have made the Russian bear into their all purpose bogeyman and they aren't giving it up. Very similar to the manner in which the endless money pit that is the Ukraine versus Israel. No attempts at a peaceful resolution are allowed whilst dealing with the Ukraine, but the globalist cabal that runs the administrative state puts the brakes on Israel and pushes a 2 state solution that will never be acceptable to Hamas. The same policy that decries "intrusions" on the borders of the Ukraine, applauds illegal swarms to flood through our own porous borders, while they wave debit cards and other freebies as bribes to commit crimes. They just can't stop meddling and influencing other nations while they pursue the simultaneous implosion here at home. It has become so ludicrous that it is just absurd.
I love the way these 'Wack jobs' just pull things out of their hat! (reference KJP). "let's try saying this and see what sticks!" Anything that is 'right-of- left', 'the Russians did it' and 'Inflation is under control' is narrative. There is a good job waiting for KJP after this debacle. Turn her upside down and dip her head in a bucket of soap and water. She would make a great mop!!
Biden is up there with Barbara Lee who said in a debate for a California senate seat that we just have to raise the minimum wage in SanFran to $50.00 an hour and all will be well. Lee said she had run a successful business and she knew how to take care of all the needs of her workers. The bio on her website fails to mention such a crowning achievement. We have charlatans as leaders.
