I recently learned that a local middle school was renamed. Someone at LAUSD discovered it was named after a Eugenicist. While I am not a Eugenicist proponent, I am a proponent of truth. The press release classifies the practice of Eugenics as promoting those of the European race - thus white people. This is a complete and utter lie. The Supreme Court decision that upheld forced sterilization was against poor white people. It wasn't about Black people as the disgusting Jim Crow laws kept the Black population in check. It is no wonder kids in LAUSD can't read or do math - their educators can't even do basic history. Paraphrasing DeSantis, you have to be a real expert to screw up such a beautiful state with so many resources. It reminds me of somewhere else, Venezuela.
I am going to write the school board though I know it will go nowhere. I took a deep dive into Eugenics after shepardizing Mass. v. Jacobson and coming upon Buck v. Bell. I wrote a substack on it. Obviously, there are people at LAUSD who know the truth. Eugenics should be a topic that unifies the masses about the abuses of experts and the elites. But they pushed a false narrative to further divide and fuel hatred. Meanwhile, the once sort of decent school is in chaos.
Ironically, the critical race "theory" they peddle is indistinguishable from eugenics theory -- skin color is determinative of outcome, and thus must be reversed through government correction based solely on skin color (aka "equity"). It is toxic -- they should cancel themselves instead, as the current threat is real; the ancient one long past.
The school will likely ignore you, but if you rationally explain the contrasts you shared here and copy it to the local paper (whether they will print it?), then they may respond. Or you may embolden others. Share it, and their response, on facebook, etc. If people don't stand up for truth, it will be paved over by ies.

Dr. Malone highlights Canada's eugenics program that has progressed quickly in the last few years. It includes a lot more than racial preferences.
