VERMONT VALUES UNDER ATAX! Politicians threaten our food, water, and shelter. Vermonters rally.
Hello All,
This Thursday, April 25, multiple, diverse groups will be heading to the state house in a non-partisan show of opposition to a variety of bills that are taxing to all Vermonters. Spread the word. Join us if you can.
Who: A diversity of Vermonters threatened by undemocratic political initiatives
What: A protest/rally that cannot be ignored by politicians and media
When: Late morning/early afternoon Thursday, April 25th
Where: Vermont State House Cafeteria
Why: To voice our displeasure with the direction of political leadership forsaking Vermont's marginalized voices--working Vermonters and our children, those living with the land, our natural communities, and those seeking independence from the taxing and controlling interests currently dominating Vermont politics.
Come for as much of the day as you are able. Make yourself at home, sit in some committee rooms to hear how they work, then join us in the cafeteria between 11:30 and 12:30 before we move to the press conference at 12:30.
