I remember "Take Back Vermont" signs dotting roadside properties years ago. The Lefties denounced this and implied it was about being against same-sex marriage, when, to my view, was about preserving common sense for rural Vermonters to be able to carry on traditions that had proved useful for generations. They followed that with other labels to treat native Vermonters as backwards, unenlightened, stupid. Pride in being hardy, resourceful, independent amm thinkers who didn't need to rely on big Federal and State institutions to thrive was being squelched. Too bad it became easier to just back off. Incrementalism by those policiesthrottled dissent--until Trump came along. Thank you. John, for continuing to speak out.

When you self-identify and refer to other people by labelling them as "white," you become a racist. Then you get caught in the trap of talking about people by defining them by their so-called race. This is the end goal of race-baiting leftist philosophy, to keep us divided by skin color, gender identity, and sexual preferences. It is challenging to approach the subject without falling prey to the intended framing of the subject matter. It's the same with using the term "migrant labor" as opposed to "illegal aliens." The left wants to include criminals who cross borders illegally under one non-offensive brand. Keep up the great work. It remains a battle of words.
