We recently slaughtered some lambs at our farm in Brookfield, Vermont. In doing so, we carry on a centuries-old tradition of homesteading, and of stewardship of our animals. As unpleasant as slaughtering lambs is, it is the most humane method to harvest animals who have been well-cared for.
