Amy Fewell has become an inspiring resource for existing or wannabe homesteaders around the world. Like me, Amy wasn’t raised homesteading but gravitated toward it for health and well-being.
Amy summarizes our podcast chat this way: “Having conversations about uncertain times ahead can often leave us feeling fearful or full of despair, but this conversation with Farmer John is one filled with hope. He shares the truth about the history of farming, where things are now, and what we may see in the future, all while offering us encouragement about what is possible. No matter where you are in your journey of growing your own food, let this episode inspire you to keep fighting the good fight.”
Please join us for this discussion, which also leans Christian — whether or not one believes in the literal interpretation of scripture, the Bible literally warns us that if we depart from God’s earthly provision for food that we will suffer famine and starvation (especially in the End Times, when a one world government will impose a “Mark” without which people cannot buy or sell goods including food. That electronic currency is looking literally biblical.)
Whatever one’s faith or political views, we all need food. And the most reliable source of fresh food has always been the backyard garden or chicken coop. There is nothing new under the sun….
